Dawsons’ dedicated Sales Progressors help both buyers and sellers achieve their dreams of moving home!

What are Sales Progressors?

Sales Progressors dedicate their days to smoothing the way of every property sale, working towards an exchange outcome. They act as a point of contact for sellers, buyers, solicitors, and other estate agents to ensure everyone is on the same page, and any hiccups can be resolved quickly and efficiently without buyer or seller finding themselves chasing up for information.

We’ve had our fantastic Sales Progression team in place since 2019, and here are just a few of the reasons that you definitely want them in your corner when buying or selling property.

They demystify the process

At Dawsons, there’s a specific Sales Coordinator dedicated to each sale at any given time. This means they know the ins and outs of your sale specifically, and are on-hand to talk explain the process and guide you through next stages every step of the way.

They help shorten the time between offer and exchange

Collating relevant information, acting as a point of contact for the duration of the sale, chasing any parties needed to get the job done – it all helps to streamline the process. Without a progressor, a sale can drag on, stalling at hurdles leaving more room for a sale to fall through.

They reduce stress for both buyers and sellers

Although we’re acting for the sellers, it goes without saying that moving home means that there’s a lot to think about whether you’re selling or purchasing so we provide support to the purchaser, too. If you need to chase multiple people on top of everything else needed to organise a house move, it can be an incredibly stressful time. A progressor does all of this for you, and become your sole point of contact so you can focus on the important stuff, safe in the knowledge that your move is progressing with someone in your corner.

Knowledge and experience

With a huge amount of experience of the property industry and the process involved in buying or selling property, a good Sales Progressor can handle hiccups, resolve problems, and facilitate open communication – all key elements for a smooth move.

Our very own Sales Progression team is based in our city centre hub, lead by Tracy Sturgess who has some 35 years of experience within the property industry.

You don’t have to take our word for how good this dream team are though, here’s what our customers have to say taken from independent review website, Feefo.

Professional, thorough, friendly service at all times

“I thought that the service was excellent and faultless. I was kept informed immediately and of all matters and there was a focused and determined effort to sell the property at an acceptable price. After a sale was agreed, Tracy Sturgess was very helpful in trying to speed up delays from other professionals. Her vast experience in the industry was evident at all times and gave me confidence that the sale was in excellent, capable hands.
All communications were conducted promptly, professionally and in a pleasant, friendly manner. I would have no hesitations or reservations in recommending Dawsons to prospective sellers or buyers.”

I am so grateful to have you, Sharon and the rest of the Dawsons team fighting our corner

“ I just want to say a huge thank you for everything you’ve have done to get our sale and purchase transaction over the line. It has honestly been one of the most stressful experiences of my life and I am so grateful to have you, Sharon and the rest of the Dawsons team fighting our corner.”

A very joined up service

“A very joined up service, from David the manager to Kelly in sales followed up with Sue and Lucy in the sales progression team. We were kept informed at each stage. Given that Wales was in lockdown due to Covid restrictions for much of the time, the sale progressed quickly, at a realistic sale price.”
