About our Llanelli branch
Llanelli was once renowned for its rich coal and tin production, but has since risen from the industrial ashes, and is a bustling tourist area boasting beautiful coastal views over the North Gower Peninsula through to the pretty harbour town of Burry Port, and the historic village of Kidwelly – the earliest written form of its name ‘Cetgueli’ was written by a monk in the 9th Century!
There really is something for everyone here in the local area, and we’re proud to have a branch helping people to make the very most of it.
Meet the team
Lorraine Evans - Associate
Lorraine has been in the industry for 24 years and, thankfully for us, she’s spent 19 of those years with us here at Dawsons! She actually headed up our Llanelli office for 9 years previously, before moving to our Swansea City Centre branch. She’s delighted to be back again, to be using her wealth of industry expertise and excellent local knowledge to be heading up our Llanelli branch once again. Whether you’re looking to buy a late Victorian home in the town centre, or somewhere to suit a modern lifestyle along the coastal path, you’re in safe hands with Lorraine.
Mel Wilshire – Senior Negotiator/ Valuer
Mel has over 16 years of experience in the industry. That’s 16 years of taking the time to get to know clients, providing a personal, tailored service to both buyers and sellers alike. She started out in the industry covering Gorseinon and the surrounding area, before spending five years covering Llanelli and parts of Carmarthenshire. If you’re looking for an in-depth knowledge of the local area, as well as someone who cares about each and every client, you need look no further than Mel.
Leah Rees – Sales Negotiator
Leah joined the Dawsons Llanelli team in July 2020, but she’s already spent nearly three years in the industry within the local area. Having previously worked in the hospitality sector, Leah absolutely loves meeting new people and helping them secure their dream homes – finding the right buyer for vendors as well as the perfect property for purchasers, and she does it all with a smile on her face!
Rebecca Newman - Administrator
Rebecca joined us in 2019 after finishing her A-level studies. Her previous part time job gave her a whole wealth of experience in customer service, and her friendly nature means that all clients receive first-rate service when contacting the office.
