If you have been good this year and want to send your Christmas List to Santa Clause, you can post it this week at the Dawson’s Office based at 90 High Street, Gorseinon, Swansea SA4 4BL.
We have an official postbox in the office and once all of the mail is collected it will be winging it’s way to Santa in the North Pole!
Please try to use Santa’s official address on your envelope:
Mums and dads and all friends come into the office, get warm, have a mince pie and a glass of mulled wine, the children can even colour in one of our Christmas pictures while you relax! Selection Box for the best drawing on the night too.
We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday 28th from 5.30pm. Lantern parade and fireworks in LIme Street from 6.30pm.
Hopefully, everyone has had an amazing time, whether staying at home in Swansea, visiting some of our amazing beaches and attending all of the events that have been going-on or heading abroad to foreign shores.
Now, however, is the time to get prepared for the schools going back for the Autumn term and, in order to assist, we have made a checklist for you to download and tick off as you complete each of the tasks.
Just remember that once the kids are back at school, you do not have to worry about how to entertain them every day.
Maybe think about putting your property on the market, and moving somewhere larger, or even closer to their school, to make your life easier come the Christmas holidays! (Oops sorry to mention the ‘C’ word)!
Good luck with it all, remember we are always here if you need us!
Yes kids! It’s that amazing time of the year when you don’t have to get up for school and can spend long days playing with your friends and having a whale of a time.
Ok parents, it’s that time of the year when you are pulling your hair out and wondering what the heck to do every day to keep the kids amused, and you relatively sane.
So over the next few weeks we will be helping you out with some of our favourite local children’s events happening over the Summer holidays and whilst we are at it, we will try to give you a little break at home (so you can get to watch at least a re-run of last night’s Love Island) by providing you with a picture to download and get the kids to colour in.
So this week our ‘Schools out for Summer’ theme is PIRATES!
‘Oohhh Aarrggghhh Me Hearties’
As you may already know Wales is celebrating its YEAR OF THE SEA and so the museum has a FREE family-friendly exhibition on all through the Summer holidays from 10am to 5pm daily. You can find out all about the history of pirates and buccaneers all over the world, hear tales of treason and treachery, not to mention treasure. Check out the museum website for further details.
NATIONAL WATERFRONT MUSEUM PIRATE EXHIBITION

We would love to hear about your visit, did you dress up, if so post us a picture using #SCHOOLSOUTFORSUMMER on our Dawsons Facebook Page. If you want to download our colouring pic, we’d also like to see your efforts, so make sure you post it on our page so we can see your pencil skills.
